10 Helpful Hints to Make It Through Those First Few Days Clean and Sober
Getting sober can be difficult. Here are 10 helpful hints:
1. Let yourself BE.
2. Treat yourself like you would a friend who was going through a difficult time.
3. Do something nice for yourself today.
4. Make a list of the reasons you decided to get clean and/or sober.
5. Sleep may be elusive.
6. Call someone close to you if you can.
7. Make sure you are eating.
8. Hopefully as the days pass, you are starting to feel a bit better.
9. Find what works and keep doing it.
