Volunteer
Help re-paint a playground, volunteer at a homeless shelter, or visit residents of a nursing home. There are a multitude of ways to get involved in your community. Click here to find out about volunteers needed in your area.
Offer your skills
Are you a handyman? Can you sew? Offer to help a neighbor with some fixes around the house or volunteer your seamstress skills at a domestic violence shelter.
Clean up
Clean up parks in your area or help an elderly neighbor rake leaves or shovel snow. Beautifying your surroundings is a great way to give back to your community!
Donate to a charity
If you don’t have the time to put in volunteer hours, donating to a local charity is an easy way to give back. Consider donating to recovery centers, domestic violence shelters, or halfway houses that help addicts get back on their feet.
