CVS Pharmacies Will Now Offer Naloxone in 12 New States

CVS will now sell Naloxone over-the-counter in 12 more states. Nalcoxone is an antidote to counter the breath-suppressing effects that can cause death from opioid overdose. Currently it is available in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, but will soon be available in:

·California
·Minnesota
·Mississippi
·Montana
·New Jersey
·North Dakota
·Pennsylvania
·South Carolina
·Tennessee
·Utah
·Wisconsin
