Heroin epidemic kills at least 23 Ohioans each week (video)
Bill Whitaker interviews people involved in the effort to solve the heroin epidemic in Ohio. “Arresting their way” out of the problem doesn’t work. One solution, supported by a local judge, is to put users in a drug treatment program and after two years of sobriety, drop the drug charges. Those who have been through the program say it works. Critics of the program say it’s too soft on criminals.
