Recovery or Relapse
This New York Times article outlines the vicious cycle facing many people who struggle with both addiction and homelessness. Men living at a sober living home in New York were given a choice: relapse and enroll in another program or get out. These so called “three-quarter” homes are unregulated and have been used to fleece government aid. The homes target the most vulnerable: addicts seeking help and a way off the streets.
