A new app has been developed for people struggling with alcoholism. The app works by periodically checking in with the user and asking how they are doing, if the answers are worrisome, the user is put in touch with a counselor. The app also has features like a panic button and an alert whenever a triggering location may be nearby, such as a bar or pub.
